Hear Dan share insights from his experiences.
Daniel Tracy began his career in education as a high school math teacher before becoming an instructional designer and educational consultant. At MIND Research Institute, Tracy trains teachers as well as MIND staff. Drawing on his experiences as a teacher, coder, and trainer, he reveals that the way math is taught in classrooms rarely reflects real-world math experiences — which often do not even involve numbers and symbols. Daniel speaks across the country to illuminate the power and necessity of neuroscience-based, interactive math software that is designed to teach all students how math really works. Tracy earned his bachelor’s in math and his master’s in math education from the Northern Kentucky University.
